After his time at Verizon, Marupeddi joined the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare as a Java Developer. There, he worked on several state applications, including IBES, e-Verify, and Idalink, which were essential in determining eligibility for public assistance programs like food stamps and Medicaid. He was responsible for enhancing the functionality of these applications by applying agile methodologies, which improved their ability to process and exchange data across state departments. Marupeddi’s next career move took him to ABB, a leading global technology company, where he worked as a Software Engineer in Sugarland, Texas. At ABB, he contributed to developing the nMarket Suite, a platform energy companies use to manage transactions, scheduling, and reporting. His work focused on improving the platform's ability to execute bids, positions, and settlements, which allowed energy companies to streamline their operations.
